Oil & Natural Gas Industry Day in Louisiana

"Hundreds of people got the rare opportunity to discuss issues impacting Louisiana’s energy industry with professionals in the field, along with state lawmakers in Baton Rouge. The event was organized by the Grow Louisiana Coalition. Their Executive Director, Marc Ehrhardt, says the state needs a more consistent tax code that will encourage companies to build here. ’We're fighting back and forth about where dollars should go and are these projects worth it or not,’ he said. "What's happening is that, in other states, those projects are growing, and there are more and more projects taking place outside Louisiana, that should be in Louisiana."
