Sealy Shows Local Support Through Mudbug Madness Attendance

Mudbug Madness, an annual festival held at Festival Plaza in downtown Shreveport, attracts visitors from all over. It’s Louisiana’s largest and most popular Cajun festival and is recognized as one of the Southeast Tourism Society’s Top 20 Events1. It was formed to improve the quality of life in Shreveport’s Central Business District.

Sealy team members attended the annual event this past Friday where they conferred with local supporters, volunteers, and small-business owners. SRES’ newest brokerage agent, Grant Smith, contributed to the annual festival by serving savory po-boys at a festival booth.

“Social impact investment is important now more than ever, the COVID-19 pandemic impacted us all in different ways, it’s important to talk to business owners, developers, investors, and locals to gauge how their needs (office, retail, and flex-space) have changed as a result of the pandemic”, says Smith on why he participated in the festival.
