Shreveport, LA (January 19, 2023) — Melissa Riddick, SIOR ofSealy Real Estate Services (SRES), has earned the SIOR industrial specialistdesignation awarded by the Society of Industrial and Office REALTORS®. 


SIORrepresents today's most knowledgeable, experienced, and trusted commercial realestate brokerage specialists, and these individuals are proven experts in theirmarket and leaders in the industry. To achievethe SIOR designation, Melissa completed years of creditable experience andclosed transaction volumes in the highly specialized field of industrial realestate; met stringent education requirements; and demonstrated professionalability, competency, ethical conduct, and personal integrity.

About Melissa

Melissa Riddick has been a licensed REALTOR® since 1990 and isactive in selling and leasing industrial, retail, office, and other commercialproperties and vacant land. In addition to her brokerage experience, Melissawas a property and asset manager for six years. In these roles, she managedretail and industrial properties in Shreveport, Bossier City, Baton Rouge, andNew Orleans, Louisiana. She also worked in the commercial construction divisionof Sealy & Company before her commercial brokerage career. Melissa holds aBachelor of Arts degree from Louisiana State University. She is a member of theCommercial Investment Division of the Northwest Louisiana Association ofREALTORS® (NWLAR) and has previously served on its Board of Directors and asPresident. She was once Co-Chair of the Buildings and Grounds Committee ofNWLAR and is a current member of the Louisiana REALTORS® Association and theNational Association of REALTORS®. Melissa has her brokerage license, is amember of the International Council of Shopping Centers, and is a NotaryPublic. Before her impressive career in real estate, Melissa was an accountexecutive for a regional advertising and public relations firm.
